Does anyone have Home Depot workshop kit project info from the years 2015, 2014, and 2013? My daughters attended some back then and I’ve been trying to put the pins in order by month and year but can’t remember the order of them. Even if you cannot make it to the Free Kids’ Workshops, HomeDepot.com offers great kids’ activities videos and how-to’s right on their website. As I discover what the projects will be for the Home Depot workshops, I’ll list them below so you know what you’re getting into before you head out with the kiddos. While supplies last, free kits are available during their entire month. I definitely wouldn’t recommend waiting until the last hour to arrive, otherwise, you may have some disappointed kids! You used to be able to register for the Home Depot Free kids workshops in advance, but that does not guarantee kits will be available once you arrive. The Home Depot free kids workshops have been known to run out of supplies…so while you don’t need to make reservations for the workshops, you can register here.
I was told last sat (3/7) workshops were cancelled due to the Coronavirus. The Kids Workshop program will take place in U.S. Stores will operate the Kids Workshop program in accordance with local and state CDC guidelines.
WOOD CANDY BOX Craft Kit for Kids
Beginning Saturday, May 7th, The Home Depot’s Kids Workshops will return to in-store programming in U.S. stores. The workshops will take place on the first Saturday of each month, offering families an opportunity to complete DIY-projects together. These free craft kits are intended for kids aged 5-12, though the age range is simply a guide instead of a strict rule.
It’s also home to a whole host of one-of-a-kind items made with love and extraordinary care. While many of the items on Etsy are handmade, you’ll also find craft supplies, digital items, and more. Home Depot even provides easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions to help your child create this item available online.

The next free Kids Activity Kit from Home Depot is almost available! These in-store events take place on the first Saturday of each month from 9am to 12 noon, which means the next event is Saturday, December 3! For more information, please visit HomeDepot.com/Workshops. I saw a flyer there last month but didn’t grab it but I distinctly remember thinking, oh there is two in one of the months. Our Home Depot knows my husband so well that when they have the kits, one of the employees always gives him 3 for our girls to do at home. I’ve heard many Home Depots will give you that month’s kit if you ask at customer service. With any free in-store event, it’s always best to call and confirm participation before going.
